“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”

It really doesn’t matter how small you start out. In fact, it’s better to start off small with people who believe you and share your vision. This small group is what’s going to establish the foundation of everything else that will be built on. Like every start-up that began their journey with a few, Labdoo has experienced the same. During our first few meet ups, four people would attend regularly. They were the programmers and their specialty was installing our own educational software. These passionate individuals soon began to attract others with similar interest who also thought our cause was unique. And steadily, our monthly meet ups started to grow in size. Starting small with committed individuals who have the same vision will lead to a stronger foundation than simply starting out large in size. These volunteers have a bright future and many will possibly become industry leaders. In this technologically driven age, illiteracy doesn’t only mean being able to read and write. It now also means having the ability to build, operate, and fix computers. | |
